Nasca Lines Option

LIMA – PARACAS – NAZCA – LIMA: 2 days / 1 night

Overnight lodging in Nazca and wake up fresh to experience your fly-over above the Nazca Lines – one of the world’s most enigmatic sites. Learn about the ancient Nazca culture, the story of Maria Reiche, who dedicated her life to unraveling the mystery of the figures etched into the desert plateau, and the most recent scientific theories about their origin and purpose.

July 1st: 2016: Lima – Paracas

05:30 A.M. pickup and transfer from the hotel bus station in Lima for 6 a.m. departure to Paracas. Arrive El Chaco Dock for 10 a.m. tour to Ballestas Islands, followed by a delicious sea food lunch (not included). Then, you will have a tour to Paracas Natural Reserve; these islands are rocky formations that shelter sea lions, Humboldt Penguins, dolphins and a wide variety of resident and migratory birds. It has a rich biodiversity, including 160 fish species, 216 bird species and 25 types of dolphins and whales.

July 2nd: 2016 : Nazca Flyover

In the morning, after breakfast, we will continue to Nazca city (Approximately 3 hours) and then you will fly over the enigmatic Nazca Lines, etched into the Pampas of San Jose e Ingenio. These huge Figures represent animals and other geometric figures.  The Nazca culture developed ingenuous irrigation techniques, not only with river water but also using underground water through subterranean canals or aqueducts. In the afternoon, return to Lima (approximately 6 ½ hrs hours).
