Thursday, December 27:
Depart JFK at 7:01P on Air Maroc for Casblanca, Morocco.
Friday, December 28: CASABLANCA:
Arrive at Casablanca Airport Mohamed V at 7:50A. After picking up luggage and clearing customs, transfer to the hotel. After time to relax and freshen up from the flight, there will be a tour of Morocco’s largest city and economic capital, Casablanca. The tour will include the Medina Habbous quarter, Notre Dame Cathedral, United Nations Square, Corniche Boulevard, the central market and the world’s second largest mosque-–Hassan II. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Golden Tulip, +212(0)22 96 43 50. Casablanca.
Saturday, December 29: CASABLANCA–RABAT:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Rabat. The sightseeing tour of Rabat will include a walking tour in the old city. You will visit the important Islamic Monuments of Rabat. Touring also includes the Oudaias Casbah, with its walls and splendid gateway built in the reign of Yacoub El Mansour (1185 – 99 ), the Royal Palace (Mechouar), the Mohamed V Mausoleum. After lunch, continue to the Royal Palace, Hassan’s Tower (Originally the minaret of a large mosque), and the Museum of Moroccan Arts and Crafts. Sunday, December 30: RABAT–MEKNES–FES:
After breakfast, departure to Fez with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred Islamic Town of Moulay Idriss I. Continue to Meknes, the “Moroccan Versailles” which was founded at the end of 17th century by Moulay Ismail. The sightseeing of this city will include Bab Mansour. After lunch in Morrocain Palace continuation to Hari Souani and the old Medina. Arrival in Fez, check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight in Crown Palace Fes +212(0)55948000, Fes.
Monday, December 31: FES–FES:
Breakfast at the hotel. The whole day is devoted to the sightseeing of Fez, the oldest cultural and spiritual city of Morocco. Visit the craftsmen who are still working as their ancestors did hundreds of years before them. Visit the monuments of Fez and medina–a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, continuation of the city visit in the afternoon. New Years Eve Gala outside the hotel. The gala includes champagne, unlimited wine, an impossible amount of food, plus entertainment. Overnight in the Crown Palace Fes.
Tuesday, January 0:1 FES-BENIMELLAL–MARRAKECH:
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Marrakech passing by “Immouzer el Kander” and “Azrou”-a berber village known for its handicraft cooperative. Travel through the “Moroccan Alps,” a wooded and mountainous region, arriving in Beni Mellal for lunch. Then continue to Marrakech and check-in to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Hotel Kenzi Semiramis, +212(0)24 43 13 77Marrakech
Wednesday, January 02: MARRAKECH-MARRAKECH:
After breakfast at the hotel, the day will be devoted to a visit of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city known as the “pearl of the south” with the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, and the Menara Garden. Return for lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, exploration of the Souks and the Dejmaa El Fna plaza with various entertainments. Dinner in Moroccan Restaurant with Moroccan entertainment. Overnight in Hotel Kenzi Semiramis, Marrakech.
Thursday, January 03: MARRAKECH-CASABLANCA:
After breakfast at the hotel, morning free at the leisure for personal exploration or relaxing by the pool of the hotel. Afternoon departure to Casablanca, via Settat. Arrival at the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight in Hotel Golden Tulip, Casablanca.
Friday, January 4:
After breakfast, departure transfer to airport. Depart Casablanca at 10:45, arrive JFK at 1:45P.
